WWE Raw 8/10/26 – Introduction
WWE Raw that aired on August 10, 2026, was one that filled in the gaps after SummerSlam. Therefore, there were a number of noticeable angles and plotlines that WWE advanced, such as the world title picture, the story of The Bloodline, and the developing crisis involving many of the top women on the Raw brand.
Most exciting was the start of a new tournament to crown the new number one contender for the World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. Furthermore, WWE revealed that Penta would team with Laredo Kid in a tournament match, thus inserting a huge lucha libre aspect to Monday night. The victor will be one match away from a title shot against Reigns at next month’s Raw in Mexico City.
With Roman Reigns as World Heavyweight Champion, each tournament match had much on the line. Consequently, Penta has already proven himself as one of WWE’s most exciting high-flyers, while Laredo Kid’s experience in lucha libre and new face on the Raw roster offers an interesting matchup between two talented wrestlers. What to Expect From WWE Raw on August 10
The show on August 10 was being billed as an important follow-up to SummerSlam. Therefore, it was being used to help establish some new championship contenders, as well as extending several individual feuds.
Without a doubt, the most significant development was the World Heavyweight Championship tournament. WWE revealed that wrestlers from Raw, SmackDown, and AAA would be involved in a tournament to determine who gets to face Roman Reigns. Furthermore, with this tournament, WWE created a No. 1 contender’s competition that merges its weekly shows with its expanding relationship with AAA and the Mexican wrestling world.
The match between Penta and Laredo Kid was much more than just another singles contest. Consequently, it opened the tournament and had the potential to set the course for the World Heavyweight Championship story leading to Mexico City.
The Bloodline story looked set to take a prominent role in the episode. Jey Uso faced Solo Sikoa, keeping alive one of WWE’s most well-known family feuds. Solo has been heavily involved in the Bloodline story all along, while Jey has become one of Raw’s biggest singles stars.
The match may not be the only thing that came of this. Furthermore, the ongoing saga between Jey and Solo and Roman Reigns is far from over, and WWE can draw on this history for any number of game-changing twists. Watch wrestling online to follow these storylines.
WWE Raw 8/10/26 Match Card
Here is the announced and promoted card, with several matches scheduled for the men and women.
| Match | Stakes |
|---|---|
| Penta vs. Laredo Kid | World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender Tournament First Round |
| Austin Theory vs. Akira Tozawa | Singles Match |
| Dragon Lee vs. Dominik Mysterio | Singles Match |
| Sol Ruca & IYO SKY vs. Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez | Women’s Tag Team Match |
| Jey Uso vs. Solo Sikoa | Main Event – Bloodline Stipulation |
The featured tournament match was Penta vs. Laredo Kid. The winner would go on in the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender Tournament.
This marked Laredo Kid’s Raw debut and presented him with an instant chance to blow away an established WWE star.
Another singles match announced was Austin Theory versus Akira Tozawa. Theory is one of the more familiar young superstars to appear on Raw, while Tozawa has proven that he can still deliver lively, competitive matches.
On the women’s tag team match, it was going to be Sol Ruca and a mystery partner against Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. Consequently, the mystery partner was one of the more interesting questions on the show because WWE made a conscious decision to keep that answer a mystery.
Of course, there was also a lot of focus on Stephanie Vaquer, who came in to talk to the WWE Universe. Stephanie came in at a busy time for the women’s division, with Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch also vying for the bigger title.
Penta vs. Laredo Kid Sets Tournament Stakes
The first match of the tournament promised to be an exciting clash.
Penta has the credentials and reputation to be an obvious favorite. However, do not count out Laredo Kid. His lucha libre roots make him an ideal addition to the field, and his WWE debut could be an opportunity to showcase him to the masses.
This fight should also bring a different style from some of the other fights on this card. Therefore, look for quick movement, high-flying offense, counter attacks, and lots of athleticism.
The goal is clear for the winner: move closer to Roman Reigns and contend for the World Heavyweight Championship. Furthermore, for Laredo Kid, merely making it to the second round puts him in the discussion against such an accomplished field. Watch WWE Raw online to see this match.
Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa Continue Their Family War
Another feature match was the standoff Jey Uso versus Solo Sikoa.
The Bloodline tale continues to be one of the most well-known running stories in WWE. Therefore, with the king Roman Reigns involved, the match had a lot more significance. Jey and Solo have been rivals for years, which makes their on-screen conflict much more rooted than a regular singles match.
Jey’s role in the story is quite fascinating because he is breaking away from The Bloodline more and more. However, he still isn’t completely detached from the family. Solo has an entirely different, although equally complicated, background with Roman and the rest of the family.
That mashup helps make their August 10 clash one of the more significant storyline matches of the night. Watch wrestling online free to see this match.
Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer Add More Drama
There were some big things in store for the women’s division too on Raw.
It’s Becky Lynch time, and it looked like Stephanie Vaquer would also be featured while Liv Morgan is still a mainstay in the title picture.
Her return has certainly turned a lot of heads. Consequently, what she says now could even set her next victim. On the other hand, the very fact that she is one of the biggest stars on the Raw roster ensures that any feud she is involved in could suddenly become a huge hit.
The women’s tag match with Sol Ruca, Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez contributed another element to the story. Furthermore, with so many names out there fighting for attention, there is an opening for Raw to create the next big women’s feud.
Why WWE Raw 8/10/26 Matters
The August 10 show was important not just because WWE was doing another generic weekly episode. Therefore, WWE was leveraging this show in order to define the post-SummerSlam future.
The World Heavyweight Championship tournament is opening up a path for several contenders to challenge Roman Reigns. Furthermore, in the background, the Bloodline story is gaining momentum with Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa.
The women’s division is also about to hit an important stretch, with Stephanie Vaquer, Becky Lynch, and Liv Morgan all fixtures around the title scene.

WWE Raw 8/10/26 Results and Major Highlights
WWE Raw August 10, 2026 in Norfolk, Virginia, was a huge night of action with the World Heavyweight Championship picture and The Bloodline storyline as the focus. Therefore, along with the kick-off match for a tournament to crown the next challenger to Roman Reigns, a handful of significant singles matches, a newly developing women’s championship storyline, and the main event had significant implications for Solo Sikoa.
The most significant outcome of the evening occurred in the final contest. Jey Uso emerged victorious over Solo Sikoa. Solo is now obliged to rejoin The Bloodline as required by the pre-match stipulation formulated earlier in the program. Consequently, this win paves the way for a major Roman Reigns appearance on the subsequent episode of Raw.
Penta was also winning matches in the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender Tournament. Furthermore, he eliminated Laredo Kid and is now only one step away from having a championship match with Roman Reigns in Mexico City.
WWE Raw Results – August 10, 2026
Full advertised match results from the August 10 show were:
| Match | Winner |
|---|---|
| Penta vs. Laredo Kid | Penta |
| Austin Theory vs. Akira Tozawa | Austin Theory |
| Dragon Lee vs. Dominik Mysterio | Dragon Lee |
| Sol Ruca & IYO SKY vs. Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez | Sol Ruca & IYO SKY |
| Jey Uso vs. Solo Sikoa | Jey Uso |
These outcomes point WWE in multiple ways for the next episode. Therefore, Penta navigates through the championship competition, Jey Uso takes charge of the Bloodline dilemma, while the women’s rotation remains heated with Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer, Becky Lynch, and several others in the race.
Penta Advances in the World Title Tournament
Penta and Laredo Kid started the tournament portion of the show with an exciting, high-paced match that displayed the lucha libre style.
Laredo Kid made some very dangerous moments happen – he executed a moonsault and a 450 Splash that nearly ended the match. However, Penta responded with his own exciting offense and soon found the opening he was looking for.
The match was over when Laredo Kid missed a twisting plancha. Consequently, Penta quickly took advantage and hit the Mexican Destroyer for the three. The victory advances Penta into the next round of the tournament.
The other team Penta will face in the tournament will be the winner of the second match – La Parka vs. Psycho Clown. Furthermore, the tournament involves WWE, SmackDown, and AAA wrestlers, and the winner will get a match for the World Heavyweight Championship in Mexico City against Roman Reigns.
That puts Penta among the first picks to keep an eye on as WWE heads for the Mexico City title match. Watch wrestling online to follow the tournament.

Jey Uso Defeats Solo Sikoa in Main Event
The highlight of the storylines was undoubtedly in the main event, where Jey Uso faced Solo Sikoa.
Earlier in the night, Solo turned down Jey’s idea to come back to The Bloodline. Therefore, Jey then suggested a match that had one stipulation attached: if Jey wins then Solo has to come back to the family, but if Solo wins then The Bloodline will leave him alone.
Solo took on the challenge and laid out a simple penalty for the main event.
The bout also became a lot more physical as it wore on. Solo dominated parts of the match until Jey succeeded in changing the match’s dynamics, thanks to Jimmy Uso’s help when he distracted the referee, allowing Jey to take control.
Jey finally speared Solo and he went up to follow it with the Uso splash for the pin. Consequently, Solo Sikoa now has to go back to The Bloodline.
The ending also leaves WWE with a natural direction for next week’s Raw. Reigns is booked, and commentary made it seem like Jey is sending Solo home to the Tribal Chief. Watch WWE Raw online to see this main event.

Austin Theory Wins as Oba Femi Confronts Bron Breakker
Austin Theory bested Akira Tozawa in another singles match on the show. Theory dominated most of the match and planted Tozawa with the Off Switch.
The post-match action got even more interesting. Theory put the chair to Tozawa’s head in an effort to re-ignite the assault, but the security team stepped in.
Bron Breakker then ran out and hit Tozawa, before Oba Femi’s music played. When Femi arrived, Breakker decided to go and meet him. The officials had trouble separating these two competitors.
The confrontation added to an already building intense story between Breakker and Femi. Furthermore, backstage, Paul Heyman’s comments further hinted that Breakker is getting more and more worried about Femi’s place and potential.
This may well turn out to be the beginning of one of Raw’s hottest new rivalries in the next few weeks.
Dragon Lee Beats Dominik Mysterio
Dragon Lee earned an important victory over Dominik Mysterio.
Dominik had domination of the match but used his experience to try to slow Lee down. However, Lee refused to be held down and managed to fight back, surviving the 619 and avoiding the Frog Splash.
Lee then defeated Operation Dragon to claim the win. However, the celebration didn’t last long as Big Cass attacked him straight away.
He tried to block the shot but even Je’Von Evans couldn’t get there, as Big Cass outmuscled him. Consequently, that fight after the match is now an added problem for Lee and Evans and a huge boost for Big Cass going into the next few Raw episodes.
IYO SKY and Sol Ruca Score a Tag Victory
The women’s tag match gave us yet another significant result. Sol Ruca and IYO SKY defeated Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez.
IYO was the surprise partner for Ruca. Therefore, the wrestlers did a good job working together and pulled out the win when Ruca hit the Sol Snatcher.
The match also ties in with the current Women’s Intercontinental Championship situation. Furthermore, Ruca is still eager for a rematch for the title, while Lyra Valkyria came out after their win to confront Ruca and IYO.
That exchange indicates that perhaps the women’s division is about to continue on with another feud between Ruca, Valkyria, and the belts.
Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer Target Liv Morgan
Stephanie Vaquer was in the ring with Becky Lynch.
When Vaquer returned, she had a message for Liv Morgan and the Judgment Day. Therefore, she told them that she was planning on working her way through the stable and eventually making her way after Morgan and the Women’s World Championship.
Becky Lynch then interrupted. Instead of merely throwing her lot in with Vaquer, Becky was very explicit about her desire to have the title that Liv Morgan currently holds.
Things quickly took a turn for the worse. Liv Morgan attacked Becky from behind again, while Vaquer came back to deliver some help. However, there was a real exchange going on between Becky and Vaquer, heating things up and creating the potential for a three-way championship story.
For supporters watching the Women’s World Championship situation, this was one of the most important outcomes of the night. Watch wrestling online free to follow this rivalry.

Certainly, the Norfolk event was also significant as it began the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender Tournament. Consequently, this will be a tournament to find out who Roman Reigns will face when the Raw roster visits Mexico City.
What Happens Next on WWE Raw
Next immediate step is the World Heavyweight Championship tournament. Penta has moved on and will face the victor of La Parka or Psycho Clown.
Roman Reigns will also be on the next Raw, which could allow WWE an organic means of explaining the forced return of Solo Sikoa to The Bloodline. Jey Uso has already set out his intentions, so the next step is how Roman will react to Solo’s repatriation.
The unresolved feud between LA Knight and the World Heavyweight Championship also remains. Furthermore, Knight voiced his discontent over being not included in the tournament, and Adam Pearce responded by saying he would get a chance once the tournament ended. His path even crossed with Jacob Fatu, giving Raw an additional challenger.
Another interesting match to keep an eye on is the up-and-coming Rey Mysterio vs. Chad Gable feud. Following Gable’s win in the tournament, Gable approached Penta and Rey Mysterio backstage. Consequently, Gable challenged Rey to a match to defend the Intercontinental Championship, and Rey accepted.
As Penta pushes forward, Solo Sikoa being moved back into the fold of The Bloodline, Roman Reigns coming back next week, and a few title contenders brewing, the August 10 episode set up a lot of excitement towards the next phase of WWE Raw.
