Chairs, trash cans, kendo sticks, and a table were all incorporated into the bout as both men used every opportunity to try and attack the other’s weakness. Therefore, Lennox spent lengthy periods trying to damage the injured knee of Shugars, but he kept fighting through the pain.
The finish came when Shugars went up top of the cage and hit a high crossbody on Lennox to pick up the win.
It was a particularly significant result seeing as Lennox had previously bested Shugars in singles action in the wake of the DarkState saga. For now, the original resident of the dark gets the last say in this chapter of the rivalry.
As for which match had the most influence on the 8/25 show, there was no question. Consequently, this match settled a feud with the cage stipulation, and Shugars’ win gave him momentum in the long run.
Rey Fenix Retains the AAA Cruiserweight Title

Kali Armstrong Earns Her Heatwave Spot
Perhaps the most devastating outcome from the night was Kali Armstrong defeating Zaria.
The question was straightforward: if Armstrong managed to beat Zaria, she would be included in the women’s championship unification match at Heatwave. Armstrong achieved this, winning the match by countering Zaria’s finishing attempt with an O’Connor Roll.
The outcome completely altered the planned finals for that year’s Heatwave.
Prior to the 8/25 show, Zaria was scheduled to challenge NXT Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair for a unification match.

Therefore, BirthRight winning gives the stable some bragging rights going into the next block of NXT shows.

Keanu Carver Beats Kam Hendrix
